Every charter includes a licensed captain and a first mate. Our professional crew is recruited based on the combination of experience, skills and personality and we are lucky to have a talented crew who will provide you with the highest standard of service.
When chartering for more than 6 guests, your charter becomes bareboat and you take full responsibility for the vessel and the crew. At this time you will choose your captain for your voyage. Please inquire for more details.
Captain Paul McGrail, Owner
A lifelong sailor since the age of 8, Paul practically grew up at the American Yacht Club in Rye, NY where he competitively raced sailboats on national and international levels. He cruised all over the Eastern Seaboard on his parents’ Hinkley Bermuda 40 and at age 15, he signed on as a cadet on a British Sail training ship. Paul attended college at Cortland State, NY but knew boating was his calling.
In 1988 he started Sebago Watersports in Key West Florida and over the next 30+ years, he grew Sebago from one catamaran to a multi-boat watersports operation which includes 4 catamarans, 2 schooners, and 2 parasail boats. The business includes daily charters for sailing, snorkeling, swimming, touring, parasailing, and jet skiing, but Paul has since sold the watersports business and purchased Indigo with his wife Tami. Not quite ready to fully retire, he is looking forward to continuing to bring excellence to the world of boat chartering.
Tami McGrail, Owner/Hostess
Tami grew up on the water in the beautiful Florida Keys. She attended FSU and made her way to NYC where she had a successful 12-year career in sales and marketing in the advertising world. Missing the water and boating, she ultimately moved back to Key West where she started a family and joined her husband Paul in running Sebago Watersports, bringing her business skillset and natural “knack” of event planning to Sebago.
Tami developed and grew the private charter and catering departments and then moved on to broaden her knowledge of the wine world and run her own catering entity – specializing in yacht catering and provisioning. With over 20 years of experience, Tami knows how to take care of clients and loves hosting events, sharing her love of the water, good food, and wine.
